Our Medical Science Group (MSG) is the finest example of cross-sector collaboration in medical research, medical service and medical education. MSG drives the synergy between Siloam Hospitals Group (SHG), Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology (MRIN) and Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Faculty of Medicine and School of Nursing. The research arm, Mochtar Riady Institute for Nanotechnology (MRIN), is the only private-owned cancer center in Indonesia. Its primary focus in research is to advance cure for cancer, particularly liver cancer, one of the most fatal disease in the world. The institute has five divisions for research: Molecular Epidemiology, Proteomic, Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP), Immunologu and Genomic. All divisions are equipped with the most advanced equipment.
